Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Engineering Automation Manager in Houston, TX to lead the deployment of the engineering application suite and ensure data integrity across 3D/BIM models, CAD tools, and the project CDE for a complex industrial facility.

You will manage a multi-disciplinary automation team, coordinate with engineers, consultants, and construction partners, and drive AI-enabled improvements while upholding ISO 19650 standards and Bechtel's engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with 13+ years in engineering automation/digital engineering.
• Proven leadership of multi-office teams and external partners.
• Experience deploying 3D/BIM and engineering data applications on large EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and CDE environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and administration of the engineering application suite.
• Drive data flow from design through procurement, construction, and startup.
• Manage discipline automation leads and model administrators.
• Coordinate with partners to align BIM Execution Plans and exchange protocols.
• Champion design automation, scripting, and AI-enabled improvements.
