Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree.
• Embedded real-time systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency with automotive embedded electronic component R&D.

Responsibilities

• Assist with introducing design decisions regarding controller states, signals, and boundaries at a control system level that will serve as the interface between electrical harnesses, electronic components, vendor base software, and embedded application software
• Communicate control system functionality to upstream and downstream stakeholders
• Follow project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality
• Support launch at truck assembly plants as needed and resolve field issues as identified
• Ensure industry-leading quality and reliability are met, maintained, and exceeded on all components
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other professionals to ensure quality commercial vehicle electrical designs
• Investigate and resolve warranty issues
• Up to 15% travel
