SANY Group in Atlanta seeks an experienced engineer to design and implement complete-machine control strategies for large-tonnage loaders. You will work on operating modes, power distribution, hybrid mode switching, engine point control, traction drive, and energy recovery to optimize performance.

The role involves strategy simulation, bench commissioning, calibration, and collaboration with hardware, software, and drivetrain teams to ensure robust protection and fault handling.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop complete-machine control strategies for large-tonnage loaders, familiar with machine operating modes and power output logic under typical mine conditions.
• Develop fault diagnosis strategies and protection logic, including derating, overheat, and high-voltage interlock protections; define fault codes and dashboard indicators.
• Specify interaction interfaces and signal protocols between controllers and dashboards; coordinate logic matching among multiple controllers.
• Conduct strategy simulation, bench commissioning, vehicle calibration and debugging; calibrate and optimize control algorithms for heavy-load and continuous operation.
• Prepare control strategy requirement documents, calibration manuals and test plans; participate in bench and mine tests; use field data to iteratively improve calibration parameters.
• Support FMEA activities, identify risk points at the strategy level, and work with hardware-software teams for joint debugging and integration with drivetrain components.
• Liaise with software and test teams to deliver strategy requirements and coordinate commissioning with component suppliers.

Description du poste

• Responsible for the design and development of complete-machine control strategies for large-tonnage loaders. Be familiar with machine operating modes and power output logic under typical mine working conditions, and formulate control logic for loading power distribution, hybrid mode switching, engine operating point control, traction drive control and energy recovery.
• Develop complete-machine fault diagnosis strategies and protection logic, including power limiting / derating protection, overheat protection and high-voltage interlock protection. Define fault codes, alarm logic and dashboard fault indication logic.
• Sort out and define interaction interfaces and signal protocols between controllers and dashboards; coordinate logic matching among multiple controllers.
• Conduct strategy simulation, bench commissioning, vehicle calibration and debugging. Perform strategy calibration and optimization for heavy-load, impact and continuous operation conditions.
• Compile control strategy requirement documents, strategy specification documents, calibration manuals and test plans. Participate in bench tests and mine industrial tests, collect operating condition data, and iteratively optimize control algorithms and calibration parameters based on field feedback.
• Take part in FMEA failure analysis, identify risk points at the control strategy level, and improve fault protection logic. Support hardware-software joint debugging together with electronic control, electrical and electric drivetrain teams.
• Liaise with software and test teams to deliver strategy requirements and track strategy implementation; cooperate with component suppliers for controller adaptation and commissioning.
