Job summary

JLL is hiring an Operations Supervisor in Bradley, IL for a 1st shift role onsite. You will oversee control room and facilities operations, manage alarm escalation, compliance, and SOP development, while coordinating with engineers and stakeholders to drive upgrades and performance improvements.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, performance reviews, and ensuring safety and efficiency in day-to-day

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Experience in control room operations, facilities operations, or building systems supervision.
• Strong knowledge of operational procedures, alarm management, and facility compliance standards.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating schedules, and conducting employee performance evaluations.
• Ability to interpret SOPs, operational documentation, and technical procedures accurately.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support control room operations, including alarm response and escalation.
• Oversee operational rounds and documentation to ensure standards are met.
• Evaluate and improve SOPs, work instructions, and logbooks for efficiency.
• Set work schedules, onboarding activities, and training plans for operations staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee development.
• Coordinate with engineers during facility upgrades and transitions.
• Monitor KPIs and compliance; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in alarm management and system performance.
