Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Control Technician 2 for its Richmond-area modular mission critical operations. The role focuses on fabrication of control panels, field installation and commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation of finished panels.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a shop environment and a minimum of 1 year electrical experience, with a high school diploma or GED, plus CPR/First Aid certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Follow verbal and written work orders, diagrams and wire lists to determine materials and sequence of assembly.
Fabricate control panels, perform wiring, painting, and welding as required.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
Follow company procedures for ordering, storing, receiving and returning materials and tools.
Ensure work meets schedule and quality goals.
