Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Control Technician 4 to fabricate control panels, install and commission field instrumentation, and document finished panels. You will work with a variety of tools and read schematics to assemble complex panels for industrial applications.

The role requires extensive hands-on fabrication, wiring of PLCs and drives, and adherence to NEC/UL508A standards. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in a shop environment with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within six months of hire and maintained during employment.
• Pass a background investigation and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials and sequence of assembly.
• Perform sheet metal works, punching holes, wiring, painting, and welding.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Follow procedures for ordering, storing, receiving, and returning materials and tools.
• Ensure work is completed per schedule and quality goals are met.
