Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring a Control Technician 1 to fabricate control panels, install and commission field instrumentation, and troubleshoot and calibrate equipment. You will review work orders and diagrams, assemble panels, and update drawings as needed.

This role requires basic communication skills and strict adherence to safety practices. The ideal candidate has an HS Diploma or GED with electrical/control experience and can operate power tools safely.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with at least 1 year in a job shop and electrical/control experience.
• Ability to read work orders, diagrams and wire lists for materials and sequence.
• Willingness to safely use and maintain power tools and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal instructions and read work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials and sequence.
• Demonstrate communication and basic organizational skills in a team setting.
• Perform panel build, mounting, penetrations, wiring and cosmetic repairs.
• Safely use and maintain hand and power tools.
• Understand and follow company procedures, policies and safety practices for industrial manufacturing.
