ProMinent seeks an experienced shop technician to assemble and wire industrial control panels in a fast-paced environment. You will review prints, verify components, and organize builds to ensure on-time delivery.

You will oversee workload, perform functional testing, document results, and maintain tool inventories. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to lift 50–75 pounds while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on use of common hand tools and strong manual dexterity.
• Able to lift 50–75 pounds.
• Attention to detail and reading comprehension.
• Prefer PLC instrumentation setup experience.
• 2 years in production environment or technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels from drawings and schematics.
• Review prints, confirm components, and organize the build.
• Oversee shop workload and scheduling to meet commitments.
• Verify pulled components against BOM and report nonconforming parts.
• Perform functional testing and document results.
• Capture quality data with QC records and test forms.
• Maintain personal tool inventory and keep workspace clean and safe.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to remove blockers and maintain momentum.
