Job summary

This position is located at the Milliken Cushman site in Williamston, SC and reports to Engineering. It is responsible for maintaining plant production equipment and supporting systems to ensure high-quality product output on schedule.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in electrical field or related discipline.
• Knowledge of electrical components and computer hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including programmable controls, NCs, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
• Reinstall guards and safety equipment after completion of work.
• Ensure DC/AC motors, breakers and other equipment switches are in good working order.
• Read electrical drawings and ensure electrical components are operating properly.
• Assist other engineering associates to perform work to keep production machinery and equipment in working order.
• Inform management and maintenance/production staff of potential electrical/mechanical problems and hazards involved.
• Assist Maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate a high level of safety consciousness and participate in the Milliken Safety Process.
