Job summary

Milliken Cushman site in Williamston, SC seeks a CET to maintain plant production and auxiliary equipment to ensure high-quality output on schedule. You will keep maintenance records and needed part inventories and collaborate with engineering to sustain reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has a two-year electrical-related degree and knowledge of motors, drives, and safety practices. You will troubleshoot, repair, and support production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in an electrical-related field.
• Through knowledge of electrical/electrical components and equipment including PC hardware components, desktop operating system software and application software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies drives, gauges and test equipment.
• Reinstall guards and safety equipment after completion of work.
• Ensure motors, breakers and other equipment switches are in good working order.
• Read electrical drawings and ensure electrical components of machinery are operating properly.
• Assist other engineering associates to perform work to keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment in working order.
• Inform management and maintenance/production associates of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers.
• Assist Maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate safety consciousness and participate in Milliken Safety Process.
