Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Controls Engineer for our automated facility in Miami. The role centers on maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading existing automation systems to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

You will work with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and HMI/SCADA systems, coordinating with engineers, vendors, and integrators. The ideal candidate has hands-on troubleshooting experience, strong electrical schematic reading, and familiarity with industrial networks.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years' Controls/Automation experience.
• Strong Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC knowledge.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with industrial communication networks.
• Material handling, conveyor, warehouse automation or robotics experience would be beneficial.
