Job summary

Cast & Crew is seeking a Contributions Coordinator in Burbank to balance and report pension, health, and welfare contributions for unions and guilds. The role requires solid accounting basics and strong knowledge of union rules and payroll processes, with relationships built with fund offices and production clients.

The coordinator will work with finance to reconcile reports, handle inquiries, and ensure accurate contribution processing, while maintaining records per policy.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience handling finance or accounting-related tasks such as billing, reconciliations, or other related responsibilities.
• Experience with unions, guilds, and fund offices preferred.
• Proficient knowledge and utilization of the payroll database system preferred.
• Ability to quickly comprehend/learn new processes, systems, and methods.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication ability.
• Self-motivated to work independently while working towards the team and individual goals.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with a sense of urgency regarding client servicing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and balance weekly and monthly contribution reports against finance reports for multiple unions and guilds.
• Coordinate with Finance to maintain and monitor aging reports, refund allocations, and other tasks.
• Receive and respond to internal and external customers inquiries.
• Analyze union inquiries regarding pension, health & welfare rate discrepancies between contracts and rates submitted.
• Identify and analyze union billings for penalties, shortages, and overpayments.
• Provide accurate data required for reporting based on union rules/guidelines.
• Effectively support internal and external clients to resolve issues.
• Assist and coordinate the processing of adjustments related to incorrect contribution processing.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and practices.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as needed.
