Job summary

The SAG-AFTRA Health Plan | SAG-Producers Pension Plan in Burbank, CA is seeking a Pension Benefit Payment Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely pension distributions and to support monthly reconciliations and tax reporting. You will review data for plan rules and coordinate with Accounting and IT as needed.

You will help safeguard payment accuracy through new system adoption and collaborate with Pension Benefits Specialists, IT, and external vendors in a hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pension payment processing, benefits administration, payroll, or related financial operations.
• Proficiency in Excel for payment tracking and reporting.
• Demonstrated accuracy in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Review pension benefits, amendments, terminations, suspensions, and levies for accuracy.
• Process EFTs, direct deposits, and tax-related pension items with vendors and AP.
• Balance monthly pension payroll reports and support year-end tax reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Pension Benefits Specialists to resolve discrepancies.
