Qualifications

• GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience handling finance or accounting tasks such as billing reconciliations.
• Experience with unions, guilds, and fund offices preferred.
• Proficient knowledge and utilization of the payroll database system preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work at the Burbank office approximately 2x per week or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and balance weekly and monthly contribution reports for multiple unions and guilds.
• Coordinate with Finance to maintain aging reports, refund allocations, and other tasks.
• Receive and respond to internal and external customer inquiries.
• Analyze union inquiries regarding pension, health & welfare rate discrepancies between contracts and rates submitted.
• Identify and analyze union billings for penalties, shortages, and overpayments.
• Provide accurate data required for reporting based on union rules/guidelines.
• Support internal and external clients to resolve issues.
• Assist and coordinate processing of adjustments related to incorrect contributions.
