Job summary

SAG-AFTRA Health Plans and SAG-Producers Pension Plans are seeking a Senior Contribution Specialist who acts as a subject-matter expert on complex employer contribution work. The role involves advanced investigation, reconciliation, interpretation of CBAs, and resolving high-risk discrepancies while coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working with large datasets or contribution systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently own and resolve designated types of complex contribution work requiring advanced investigation, reconciliation, interpretation and judgment.
• Interpret and apply contractual rules and requirements to determine appropriate handling of complex contribution issues.
• Investigate complex underpayments, late reporting, missing contributions, and other discrepancies.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to team members and cross-functional partners; train to build skills.
• Communicate with employers and internal stakeholders on complex reporting issues; ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to audit readiness and process improvements by identifying recurring issues and documenting complex cases.
• Participate in testing and provide feedback on system enhancements and new processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve systemic issues and ensure compliance.
