Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Contracts Strategy Analyst within Financial Administration to support contract lifecycle activities, automate low-risk agreements, and ensure data integrity across multiple schools and units.

The role focuses on risk assessment, negotiations, and implementing AI-enabled workflows, reporting, and templated processes. Hybrid work with on-site days is offered in a flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• JD strongly preferred; experience negotiating complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice on contract structuring, risk, and negotiation strategy by redlining to business owners.
• Lead automation and standardization of low-risk agreements (NDAs, hotel, events, some software).
• Support design and maintenance of templates, playbooks, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Oversee intake, triage, and contract tracking.
• Maintain contract data integrity and reporting insights.
• Support leadership on strategic initiatives and coordinating new procurement orchestration system implementation.
• Provide training and support change management efforts.
