Job summary

SEI is seeking an experienced Legal Services Specialist to support the Strategic & Commercial Relationships legal team. The role combines contract drafting, negotiation support, and contract administration to ensure efficient and compliant contracting processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in contract drafting and administration, strong communication, and ability to handle both substantive contract details and administrative workflow within a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 5+ years in contract drafting, review, and administration.
• Experience drafting client and vendor contracts, SOWs, NDAs, and amendments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to translate legal language for business stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume contract workloads to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Word, contract management systems, and e-signature/collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare client and vendor contracts, SOWs, NDAs, and amendments using templates and playbooks.
• Review and edit contracts and redlines, incorporating input from SEI's legal team.
• Support negotiation with internal and external parties to finalize terms.
• Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and coordinate approvals and signatures.
• Maintain pipeline and track status of multiple contracts to meet turnaround targets.
• Communicate with internal clients and external counterparts to clarify obligations and requirements.
• Contribute to templates, playbooks, and process improvements for contract workflows.
