Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. offers a Contracts & Risk Management Intern role designed for a 2L JD student to gain hands-on exposure to commercial agreements, governance, and legal operations.

You will review NDAs, stock/ supply agreements, and master agreements, while helping build negotiation playbooks and maintain clause libraries. Exposure to Spellbook and Docusign CLM enhances practical contract review standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a JD program.
• Completion of the second year of law school preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; maintain confidentiality.
• Submit resume and one writing sample.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze standard commercial agreements (NDAs, Stocking Agreements, Supply Agreements, Master Agreements).
• Assist in creating contract negotiation playbooks with company positions, alternatives, and escalation requirements.
• Support governance of clause libraries.
• Work with Spellbook and Docusign CLM to standardize contract review practices.
• Assist in evaluating emerging legal and regulatory risks.
• Collaborate with other departments on governance, supplier risk management, and compliance initiatives.
