Job summary

LCS offers a Legal Internship for a 12-week, full-time program (40 hours per week) from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful contracts work, reviewing agreements, and performing legal research, with a final presentation to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week program.

Responsibilities

Contribute to real projects implemented within the organization
Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments
Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship
Drafts, reviews, and analyzes a variety of contracts, letters and memoranda
Assists with the implementation of a contract management and storage system
Conducts legal and compliance research
Assists with department initiatives and projects
