Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Program Manager I (State Contracts Manager) to promote the agency mission. This in-office role supervises the Contracts Section within the Bureau of Policy and provides leadership for contract development, management, budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving improvements in contract operations and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant health or social services program administration experience, OR
• Master's degree with three years of relevant experience, OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered with approval by State HR

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the Contracts Section within the Bureau of Policy.
• Provide leadership and direction to Section staff and liaise for all contractual actions.
• Manage contracts related to Rural Health Initiatives, Graduate Medical Education, State Agencies, Hospitals, schools and Non-Medicaid Admin Contracts.
