A forward-thinking company is seeking a mid-level Pricing Analyst to support federal government contract pricing. This remote role requires 3–5 years of experience in pricing, with a strong understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations and advanced Excel skills. Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, analysis, and submission of competitive pricing proposals (RFPs, RFQs, IDIQs).
• Conduct independent cost modeling and scenario analysis to optimize pricing strategy.
• Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, and other government pricing requirements.
• Prepare cost volumes and pricing narratives that meet solicitation standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect inputs and ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Support pricing audits and cost reviews.
• Maintain and enhance internal pricing templates, tools, and processes.
• Conduct negotiations with subcontractors on pricing terms.
• Assist in refining internal pricing policies and procedures align with company objectives.
• Stay informed on industry trends related to pricing analysis techniques.
Required Skills and Experiences:
• 3–5 years of direct experience pricing federal government contracts.
• Solid knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, financial modeling).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with cost estimation tools and proposal automation software.
• Knowledge of GSA schedules, T&M, FFP, and CPFF pricing models.
• Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, Unanet, and/or Deltek ProPricer.
• Familiarity with DCAA, GAO accountability (e.g. FPR processes).
• Industry certification (CPCM, CFCM, PMP, etc.)
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; must pass applicable background checks.
• Residing in Philadelphia or Washington, DC metro areas.
Degree Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
