Job summary

CoVoltPower is seeking a Contracts Manager in Houston for subcontract management across EPC projects. The role is based in the Downtown Houston office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). You will review bids, negotiate terms, and support project teams with exhibits, scope, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong writing and negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of construction contracts and drawings. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, construction management or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in contracts/subcontract management.
  • Strong writing and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Understanding of the construction project management process and contract terminology.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and understand job specifications.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of subcontract management for assigned projects.
  • Prequalification, negotiation and execution of subcontract agreements.
  • Lead change management and change orders.
  • Assist project teams with scope exhibits, schedules, and terms.
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with owner requirements and safety standards.
