Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Contracts Manager (Contingency) to oversee contract administration for Strategic Programs and serve as the primary customer contact.

You will ensure compliance with terms, regulations, and FEMA Public Assistance requirements, coordinating with internal teams to maintain quality and timeliness. The role requires a strong background in government contracts, FAR experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in disaster environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Government Contract Administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, or related field.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Knowledge of FEMA Public Assistance program operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced disaster environment.

Responsibilities

• Review performance requirements ensuring contracts comply with terms and government regulations.
• Oversee issuance of contract documents across internal functions and provide feedback.
• Demonstrate advanced analysis, reasoning, and decision-making abilities.
• Build strong relationships with departments and external customers.
• Participate in development of functional strategy and global processes.
