Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manager, Contracts within the Naval Radar Systems program area. You will lead contract negotiation and administration under FAR/DFARS, coordinate with program teams, and manage contract documents to support the Contracts and the Business Unit.

The role requires strong communication, motivation, and organization in a fast-paced environment with travel to customer meetings; security clearance is required. Onsite work with potential US-based travel will be involved.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience leading or administering U.S. Government contracts under FAR/DFARS including proposal activity, negotiation, or change management.

Responsibilities

• Advise and/or represent the organization on contract negotiation and administration under FAR/DFARS and FMS.
• Coordinate with internal and external customer program teams.
• Draft and manage contract documents in support of Contracts and the Business Unit.
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and guide lower-level professionals.
• Travel to support customer meetings.
