Job summary

CFS is seeking a Contracts Manager to own grants and contracts for a mission-driven nonprofit. You will oversee grant accounting, compliance, and financial analysis to support health and social services programs.

Hybrid role in Midtown Manhattan with 2 days in-office and 3 days remote. You’ll partner with finance leadership and program teams on budgets, reporting, and audits for federal, state, local, and private funding.

Target compensation is $90,000–$100,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of financial management experience, ideally with grant accounting.
• Knowledge of OMB Circular 2 CFR and nonprofit fiscal management.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting systems; Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants and contracts administration for assigned projects.
• Analyze project financials and reconcile expenses to budget.
• Prepare vouchers, reports, and documentation for funders and audits.
• Partner with project leaders to develop and modify project budgets.
• Maintain projects within Sage Intacct and support financial tracking and reporting.
