Job summary

Hartzell Propeller seeks a detail-oriented Contracts Intern to support contract administration, document organization, milestone tracking, and process improvement. This is a paid, part-time internship through December 2026, typically ~10 hours per week with potential for up to 20 hours based on workload.

The intern will review business agreements, maintain contract records in SharePoint, track key events, and improve reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a business-related degree.
• Prior coursework or experience in contracts, business law, data analysis, or records management is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned contracts and identify key dates, milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
• Summarize important contractual events and flag expiring agreements for review.
• Organize contract amendments and link them to parent agreements with concise status summaries.
• Maintain the SharePoint contract library with consistent metadata and version control.
• Verify records for completeness and legibility; scan physical records as needed.
• Enter and maintain contract milestones in tracking tools and generate status reports.
• Prepare reports on active, expired, and expiring NDAs as needed.
• Assist with improvements to contract reporting and SharePoint workflows (Power BI where appropriate).
• Support international airworthiness validation packages by organizing documents and tracking status.
