Job summary

Textron is seeking a 2027 Contracts Intern for an on-site, 10-week summer program in Hunt Valley, MD. You will assist with government, commercial, and international contracts, prepare communications, and maintain contract files to support ongoing program work.

Qualified candidates are pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields, able to work in teams and independently, and demonstrate strong ethics and communication skills; U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal studies, or related fields.
• Ability to work with a team and independently to use research techniques to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
• Strong ethics, values and integrity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative duties for government, commercial and international contracts, proposals, contract review and closeout.
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external business correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
• Support internal and external audit teams.
• Review and process Non-Disclosure Agreements.
• Perform other contract-related duties as assigned.
