Job summary

Textron is seeking an Intern - Contracts at Hunt Valley, MD to gain hands-on experience in government, commercial, and international contracts. You will assist with contract administration, correspondence, file maintenance, and NDA processing while working with audits and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s level study in business or legal fields, strong communication, ethics, and the ability to obtain a security clearance as a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor's degree in Business, legal studies, or related field.
• Ability to work with a team and independently to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
• Strong ethics, values and integrity.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• This position requires U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative duties for government, commercial and international contracts, proposals, review, and closeout.
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external business correspondence.
• Maintain accurate contract files and records for the company.
• Support internal and external audit teams.
• Review and process Non-Disclosure Agreements.
• Perform other contract-related duties as assigned.
