Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a 2027 Intern - Financial Analyst to join the finance team for a 10-week summer internship. You will conduct analysis, maintain forecasts, and help deliver EACs and monthly budgets on real programs.

This paid internship includes mentorship, training, and exposure to Earned Value reporting, with opportunities to engage across finance and accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor's in Finance or related field; <2 years work experience.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Access proficiency.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work with Finance and Accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and maintain forecasts with EACs.
• Support monthly budgets, cost projections, and EV reports.
• Maintain program measurement control systems.
• Create and maintain standard financial reports.
• Provide day-to-day support to the program finance team.
• Establish baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (MPM).
• Analyze ETC data for ETC validity checks.
• Provide real-time updates to management on EAC swings.
• Other duties as assigned.
