Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is helping a fast-growing benefits technology leader in Carmel, IN by hiring a Compliance & Contracts Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis. You will review and redline customer contracts, draft internal policies, and support regulatory and banking compliance during a period of transition with partner banks.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Security/IT, and Operations to enforce compliant terms and strengthen processes as the function matures. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and redlining contracts from a legal/compliance perspective.
• Background in policy writing, review, and administration.
• Banking or financial regulatory compliance experience is a strong plus.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
• Self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.
• Healthcare or insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• No specific degree or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage redlines on customer contracts, working closely with the compliance lead to negotiate and finalize agreement terms
• Draft, review, and help maintain internal compliance policies and procedures
• Support banking and regulatory compliance efforts, including work related to an active transition between financial institution partners
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Security/IT, and Operations teams to support contract and compliance needs across the business
• Help build out and strengthen compliance processes and controls as the function continues to mature
