Job summary

ISHE in Boise, ID seeks a Sales Support specialist to assist Contracts and Bid Specialists with bids, pricing interpretation, and vendor coordination. You will maintain customer contact across diverse sectors and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate contract fulfillment.

The role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Prior experience in foodservice sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience supporting an Account Executive (AE) in AC/CSR or foodservice equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of outside foodservice sales experience preferred with at least 6 months in sales or restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Support Contracts and Bid Specialists: handle customer inquiries, manage outs, monitor orders before cut-off, track orders, and support with proprietary items and Sysco 360.
• Create and maintain Order Guides; submit New Item Requests and Limited Time Offers to merchandising; set up new accounts.
• Manage activities like Order Guide Management and Inventory Reporting.
• Assist Business Development through customer visits, menu reviews, new items/samples/broker visits, and market analysis.
