Job summary

Openforce seeks a Contractor Payments Manager to lead the payroll settlements team responsible for processing payments to independent contractors. You will direct payroll procedures, ensure timely disbursement, and strengthen client relationships to support seamless transactions.

You will mentor staff, set performance metrics, and oversee quality assurance, while driving process improvements and knowledge sharing across the payroll function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable job experience.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of payroll and accounting processes, including wage/hour principles.
• 2+ years of software account management experience.
• 3+ years of front-line management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Contractor Payments Team and act as escalation point for client payroll (settlements).
• Monitor payroll submissions and ensure timely action by team members.
• Train new team members and participate in leadership meetings.
• Perform quality reviews of payroll processing and configurations; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of payroll processes and client needs.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with internal teams to align payroll practices.
