Job summary

Cabras Marine Corporation seeks a Contracts Administrator to oversee contract requirements, proposals, and contractor performance. You will act as a technical liaison across departments to ensure contract specifications and processing are met, and you will enter, administer, or terminate contracts with formal determinations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of engineering courses or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Contracts Administration.
  • Experience in ship repair industry is an advantage.
  • Must be able to write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Good communication, leadership and motivation skills.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Must be able work in an industrial environment onboard vessels, dry docks and shops.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed to get the job done.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate contract requirements, specifications, bids, proposals and subsequent contractor performance.
  • Serves as technical liaison with all department concerned regarding contracts specification and processing.
  • Enter into, administer, or terminate contracts and make related determinations and findings.
  • Responsible for the preparation and evaluation of contracts entered to by the company.
  • Prepare formal and informal contractors bids including / involving technical and complex specifications; evaluate and award bids according to current guidelines.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding bid status and contract compliance.
  • Reviews inventory listing of contractor’s availability and performance.
