Job summary

Cabras Marine Corporation seeks a Contracts Administrator to oversee contract requirements, proposals, and contractor performance. You will act as a technical liaison across departments to ensure contract specifications and processing are met, and you will enter, administer, or terminate contracts with formal determinations.

The role requires a graduate of engineering courses, 2–3 years in contracts administration, and the ability to work in an industrial marine environment including vessels,

Qualifications

  • Graduate of engineering courses or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Contracts Administration.
  • Experience in ship repair industry is an advantage.
  • Must be able to write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Good communication, leadership and motivation skills.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Must be able work in an industrial environment onboard vessels, dry docks and shops.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed to get the job done.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding bid status and contract compliance.
  • Reviews inventory listing of contractor’s availability and performance.

3.0 EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

3.1 Education:

Graduate of engineering courses or any related courses

Experience:
  • At least 2–3 years of related experience on Contracts Administration.
  • Experience in ship repair industry is an advantage.
Others:
  • Must be able to write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Good communication, leadership and motivation skills.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Must be able work in an industrial environment onboard vessels, dry docks and shops.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and work overtime as needed to get the job done.
  • Computer literate in all MS products to include but not limited to, Excel, word, power point, MS project and others as required.
