Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a detail-oriented contracting specialist in Addison, TX to process contracts, amendments, and appointments in compliance with licensing rules. You will support distributors and employees with timely, accurate contracting services while aiding growth and expense management.

The role is onsite with four core in-office days per week (Mon-Thu) and fixed core days may change with notice. A background in insurance or regulated financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a home office or field office setting, preferably in insurance or other regulated financial services industry.
• Familiarity with state regulations, contracts, etc.
• Ability to meet established deadlines; work independently as well as a team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal skills a must.
• Pass a background check that may include fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates prospective agents' qualifications through thorough criminal and credit background review and licensing issues.
• Collaborates with Recruiters, Marketing, GA’s, MGA’s, Office Managers and management to obtain support or release letters.
• Governs issuance of new business and payments of commissions until agents are licensed and contracted.
• Evaluates and interprets state insurance regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Notifies field force of changes in state regulations concerning licensing for life, annuity, long term care, indexed annuities and variable products.
