Job summary

School Union 69 is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, contracted position is based at Hope Elementary and will serve students in grades K-8.

The successful candidate will provide direct occupational therapy services and consult on cases, complete required state Special Education paperwork for assessments, IEPs and progress reports, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and other service providers to make modifications and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maine Occupational Therapist certification and licensure.
• Maine Criminal History Background Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to identified students, including direct OT and consultation.
• Complete required State Special Education paperwork for assessments, evaluation reports, IEPs and progress reports.
• Attend IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to implement modifications and accommodations.
• Applicants must have the appropriate education, background, experience and licensure.
