Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support K-8 students in a contract capacity near Georgetown, MA. The role offers both full-time and part-time options, with emphasis on collaboration with educators and families to promote student growth.

You will evaluate and plan therapy, deliver direct and consultative services, and document progress in a compliant school setting, helping students build motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs for K-8 students.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized therapy plans for students in grades K-8.
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in the school environment.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records compliant with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and special education teams to foster student success.
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, daily living, and self-regulation skills.
