Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a contract role serving two middle schools. This full-time position runs 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for part-time candidates.

You will join a warm team of eight OT colleagues dedicated to supporting students and staff in Arlington Heights. Responsibilities include direct therapy at two sites, initial assessments and re-evaluations for eligibility, MTSS and IEP collaboration, building-level meetings,

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for school-based practice.
• Middle school experience valued.
• Familiarity with MTSS and IEP development.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills for eligibility.
• Collaborative approach to teamwork and student support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy services at two onsite middle school buildings.
• Conduct initial assessments and re-evaluations for special education qualification.
• Participate in building-level team meetings.
• Support and develop MTSS and IEP plans with educators and families.
• Consult with staff to help students generalize skills across classrooms.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with district and regulatory requirements.
