Job description

Digital Law Marketing works one-on-one with law firms seeking to grow their brands and their businesses. Our writing team is tasked with creating accurate, easy-to-understand content in a wide array of B2C practice areas, including but not limited to: personal injury, workers’ compensation, family law/divorce, criminal defense, estate planning/probate litigation, bankruptcy, and Social Security Disability. We prioritize content accuracy, readability, and a human touch to foster client trust and drive conversions.

We are looking for experienced, detail-oriented contract copywriters to craft high-quality content designed to inform and convert readers. Our blog content averages 1000 to 1200 words, focusing on clear, accessible explanations of legal topics and current laws. Writers will need strong research, writing, and editing skills and the ability to approach each topic with a law firms perspective. A solid understanding of the nuances of legal marketing is essential, and familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus. Topics will be assigned, and writers will be provided with specific guidelines for each piece.

Don't use AI to draft your blog. We are checking on Quillbot, and while we know that these tools don't guarantee 100% accuracy, we have found that they can typically detect AI. When checkers mistake human writing for AI, we notice that it's often because the writing is generic.

Pay:

We are paying $85 per blog that is between 1000 to 1200 words.

Key responsibilities:

· Researching state-specific laws and statutes applicable to any given topic.

· Creating clear-concise pieces which follow the voice and tone of each specific client based off of notes that we will provide.

· Fact-checking and editing all work before submission, including citations to internal and external reputable sources.

· Meeting deadlines for submission. We work on two week sprints and send assignments to be completed within 2 weeks.

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of experience writing SEO legal marketing content, particularly in the fields of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and workers’ compensation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • To be considered for this position, please submit blogs or any content that you have written for a law firm, for our team to review. You can submit all sample writings to pm@digitallawmarketing.com. If you don’t have prior experience writing for law firms, we can provide a selection of legal topics for you to choose from to showcase your writing ability.
  • Please indicate in your email with your writing samples how many blogs you want to write in two weeks. The minimum amount we are looking for is 4 blogs in 2 weeks. If you do not have time to write 4 bogs in 2 weeks, please do not apply.
