Job summary

A global biotechnology company in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager to lead the Workday HCM implementation. You will be responsible for project governance, coordination, and risk management, partnering closely with implementation vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate must possess 10+ years of project management experience, particularly in HR systems, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. This contract role lasts 6–9 months and offers a collaborative environment focused on impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, ideally in HR systems.
• Prior experience managing Workday projects, preferably HCM, Payroll & Time Tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the PMO function for the Workday program.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and ensure effective governance.
• Monitor day‑to‑day delivery health and address gaps or delays quickly.
• Provide clear reporting to project leadership and executives.
