Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator for the 2026 season and beyond. This contract role allows for a flexible schedule, with pay set at $275 per project covering 10-12 hours of work. Qualifications
At least 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
Capable of carrying and lifting 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding.
Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
Oversee ceremony and reception setup.
Manage full wedding-day execution.
Greet, direct, and act as the main point of contact for all vendors.
Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
Coordinate and assist with placement of personal and event details.
Support the wedding party and family members on the wedding day.
Ensure all end-of-event items are properly packed and accounted for.
Proactively manage and resolve any issues.
