OCLC seeks a part-time, remote Project Coordinator to manage two grant-funded WebJunction projects for 18 months, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and training development. The role requires collaboration with partners, researchers, and contractors, with one in-person Seattle meeting each month.
Candidates should have at least three years of project coordination experience, strong written and verbal communication, and adeptness with virtual collaboration tools.
At OCLC, we believe you'll do the best work of your life when you're living the best life possible.
We work hard to build the technology that connects thousands of today's libraries. But we also work hard to make a job at OCLC a meaningful part of a balanced life- not a substitute for one.
This temporary, part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) will coordinate two grant-funded WebJunction projects for 18 months from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension. The coordinator will manage deliverables and schedules across both projects, support the development of online training, communicate with project partners and contractors, organize and facilitate meetings, and assist with research and technical writing.
This role is remote, with one in-person project meeting each month in Seattle, Washington. Candidates must be able to attend these meetings in person, and travel expenses are not reimbursed, so candidates based in or near Seattle are preferred.
This is a remote position. Occasional travel may be required for in-person project meetings estimated at one trip per month. The coordinator will need a reliable internet connection and a workspace suitable for frequent video meetings.
The above statements cover what are generally believed to be principal and essential functions of this job. Specific circumstances may allow or require some people assigned to the job to perform a somewhat different combination of duties.
