Job summary

Jefferson County is seeking a Contract Coordinator for the Road & Bridge Division to oversee contract administration, vendor coordination, and financial tracking. The role requires organization, clear communication, and strong follow-through across multiple stakeholders.

You will support RFP development, vendor evaluation, and invoice resolution, while maintaining compliance with county policies and financial practices. A hybrid option may follow a fully onsite start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, finance, contract management, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in contract administration, procurement, vendor management, financial administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee contract administration across Road & Bridge Division.
• Assist with developing RFPs, coordinate evaluation and vendor selection.
• Monitor contract-related payments and support budget management and cost control.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract performance, address issues and recommend actions.
