Onward Search is hiring a Tooling Manager for an on-site role in Milwaukee. The position oversees tooling operations across multiple shifts and supports a 27-52 week engagement, leading efforts in tooling excellence for automotive manufacturing.

The candidate will drive daily tooling activities, develop strategic tooling processes, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget launches while optimizing workflows and capacity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, high-speed machining, and quality standards preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and vendor management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily tooling team activities, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for tooling processes and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate on-time, within-budget tooling launches.
• Optimize tooling workflows by standardizing procedures and enhancing capacity.
• Manage resources and proactively respond to demand changes and supply chain issues.
