Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM) to lead production build requirements, pallet display designs, operating instructions, and prototype builds for special-execution programs within Kitting and Manufacturing.

The role drives a culture of waste elimination, guides cross-functional teams, and delivers sustainable results while mentoring staff and aligning with operations, IT, supply planning, and finance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or equivalent degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with experience.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and cross-functional project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical and operational leader for the manufacturing engineering function and drive decisions with minimal oversight.
• Define the path forward for complex or ambiguous work and ensure accountable outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure pallet display meets requirements and Ops capabilities.
• Lead projects to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and automated solutions.
• Manage Oracle BOM setup and changes; coordinate with supply planning teams.
• Create OMS and related documentation; keep it current and understood by the team.
• Drive improvements to reduce cycle time and implement rate improvements in Oracle definitions.
• Support production operations through troubleshooting and data-driven analysis.
