Aerotek is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in a contract-to-hire role in Trumbull, CT. You will assemble and test electro-mechanical units, interpret blueprints, and perform soldering and basic electronics work using precision tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics and electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for electronics and mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with soldering techniques for electronic components.
• Hands-on experience using multimeters, voltmeters, and other electronic test equipment.
• Competence with common hand tools and micrometers for precise mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate wiring.
• Perform soldering and basic electronics assembly per procedures and standards.
• Use multimeters, voltmeters, and test equipment to verify functionality of assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues identified during testing or inspection.
• Document test results and assembly information using company tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Work in small teams or independently to meet production schedules.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep a clean work area.
