Aerotek is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in a contract-to-hire role in Trumbull, CT. You will assemble and test electro-mechanical units, interpret blueprints, and perform soldering and basic electronics work using precision tools.

Qualifications

Competence with common hand tools and micrometers for precise mechanical assembly.

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

This role focuses on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing environment. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, use hand tools and test equipment, and work closely with engineers to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems using hand tools, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to perform accurate assembly and wiring.
Perform soldering and basic electronics assembly tasks in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
Use multimeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment to test and verify the functionality of assembled units.
Troubleshoot and correct assembly or wiring issues identified during testing or inspection.
Document test results and assembly information using basic computer skills and company software tools.
Collaborate closely with engineers to clarify technical requirements and resolve design or assembly issues.
Work effectively both as part of a small team and independently to meet production schedules and quality goals.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area within the facility.

Essential Skills

Experience in electronics assembly and electro-mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
