Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in Accounting or 1 year of accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and general ledger posting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger.
• Assist accounting staff with daily accounting duties.
• Post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Prepare for month-end close and meet deadlines.
• Verify and organize financial records on company drives.
• Support vendor payments and back-up for payments processing.
• Assist with creating department procedures as needed.
• Support preparation of variance analysis and reports.
