The role covers general accounting, AP, AR, and a strong emphasis on month-end close and reconciliations, with responsibilities spanning journal entries, accruals, and close processes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Staff Accountant experience, solid GL knowledge, and hands-on AP/AR and month-end close skills, within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Staff Accountant experience.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience preparing journal entries and accruals independently.
• Hands-on AP, AR, and month-end close experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Intermediate Excel skills including: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and month-end close support
• Review AP batches for accuracy, including 3-way matching
• Reconcile credit cards, prepaid expenses, and AP aging to the GL
• Prepare CRV liability schedules and commission calculations
• Process weekly check runs and maintain accounting records
• Manage billing, collections, and cash application
• Reconcile sales registers and research customer deductions
• Perform account reconciliations and support general ledger activities
