Job summary

MetOx International, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Technical Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams, supporting rapid team growth and maintaining hiring standards.

The role focuses on sourcing hard-to-find technical talent, managing candidate pipelines, and applying data-driven evaluation methods. It also includes developing university relations, internships, and apprenticeship initiatives. This is a 3-4 month contract position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing or high-tech environments.
• Experience developing university relations, internships, or apprenticeship programs.
• Experience with technical or engineering roles in high-tech environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
• Screen, interview, and provide feedback to hiring managers.
• Track and report recruitment metrics to improve processes.
• Develop recruitment programs such as university relations, internships, and apprenticeships.
• Drive diversity recruiting and employer branding initiatives.
• Build relationships with external partners like universities and agencies.
